I am having tilt and trim issues. Has worked fine last two years.
Have had it out three times this year and works fine.
Last week i put the boat in the water and no luck i could not trim down.
I pulled the boat out and checked the motor for oil.
Was a little low but not low enough for the tilt and trim to not work.
Have been screwing around with this for a week now and no luck.
I pull the hoses off of the ram and i can freely move up and down manualy.
Hook the hoses back up fill with oil and it raises and lowers just fine.... Until i raise it all the way up with the trailer button. Once the prop is raised as high as it will go (trailer towing height) it seems it locks up at this height. It seems that when raised all the way up there is so much pressure behind the hoses that when i try to lower it again, that it will go nowhere. I hear the motor working, infact i know the motor is pushing oil in and out just fine, until there is pressure on the line. Does anyone out there have and suggestions on how to fix? Let me know if you need more info or pictures, or anything at all. I am really needing help on this one.
