I have noticed that the alarm volume (off course alarm etc.) on my new Garmin 546s is very faint and the only way I can hear it is when the engine is not running.
In fact the other day while anchored I have the anchor alarm set and when the anchor alarm went off I didn't hear it and I was setting 7 or 8 feet away on the stern bench seat.
I would think the audible alarm would be quite a bit louder.
I looked through the manual and I can't find a volume setting so I was wondering what you guys have experienced with your Garmin's plotters alarms?
