Took the powerhead off today to inspect after finding a total loss of compression on #1 cylinder. Turns out that #1 piston is completely torn up and has scored the cylinder quite badly. There is also some slight roughness on the #3 piston and cylinder wall, but this cylinder and #2 cyl both read 115 compression when tested prior to disassembly.
My questions are these:
Where do I need to take the block to get bored out?
Do I need to have all three bored out and replace all three pistons with larger ones or will the size difference not matter?
What size do the new cylinders need to be bored out to and where can I get pistons for them?
Does anyone have a ballpark idea of what I might be looking at for a price for what needs to be done? All labor will be done by myself with the exception of boring the cylinders.
