Re: Can someone help me with the proper Prop to buy?
iboats.com has a prop section to purchase a prop.Just put you motor in and the props come up.Pitch is the main thing, got to get it with in rpm of motor. Ex.a mercury 30 comes with a 9.75 X9.5 wheel. This is 9.75 in diameterX 9.5 pitch.S S is a 10 X10,which means 10 diameter and 10 pitch. The First number is how big wheel is the 10 will fit where the 9.75 was.I went to a 10 pitch from 9.75.To much pitch will slow you down,if you cant swing it.
