Hey guys,

My Merc V6 350 has run fine for 3 years. Yesterday I took it out on the lake and when throttling down from about 45 an alarm sounded with one continuous beep... the engine proceeded to stall out. The engine would attempt to turn over but not start. I could only start to head back to shore if i quickly put the boat into gear while turning the engine over. I am hoping someone has had the same problem and can give me some advice.

Thanks!!

Have you checked the oil level lately? I'd guess thats an oil pressure alarm and possibly(??) an electronic shutdown from no oil pressure. Need to know all the items Bond-o is asking.
