Johnson 15 hp Outboard No Drip

So I went out to my boat today, started my engine, and no water what - so - ever came out. I quickly shut it off, and put everything away. Any ideas? I have thought of the impeller, but 1, I dont know how to replace it myself, 2, I dont have the impeller, and 3, I need the boat tomorrow for a parade! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Please help!

The tell-tale could be plugged, use a piece of weed wacker line and see if it is plugged. The thermostat might be stuck, other wise it might be time for a water pump.

Year of motor is always helpful.

The tell-tale is probably clogged. An air gun shot through the tell-tale works wonders - while running works best.

If the pump was working fine recently, that greatly increases the odds the above will work.

The tell-tale is before the thermostat, so if it's stuck, you will still have a tell-tale.
