I have a 1970 17' trihull that i picked up cheap,$100.00. The hull and floor are solid but it needs some engine work. I am thinking about upgrading the old 225 omc buick as the it has not been run for over 20 years. It appears that a chevy will bolt to the outdrive judging from the bolt pattern on the outdrive. I know i will need new manifolds and need to fab up some front engine mounts. My question is about the coupler that bolts to the back of the crank and connects to the input shaft of the outdrive. Will it bolt to a chevy engine?
