Well finally talked the wife into getting up and going fisshing with me at 5:30 am. Drove out to the lake put the boat in. 305 V-8 with an alpha one. Boat started right up and ran great. After fishing for a few hours mostly drifting with poles in the water. started boat up and put it in forward and nothing. it wouldn't go into forward. so drove all the way back to the dock in reverse. I had no tools with me. loaded the boat and headed home. When i was home I checked out the cables and found one was bent just a little bit so I starightened it out. Checked and I had forward and reverse good to go. So a few days later decided to take kids tubing. backed the boat in the water fired up and took off great. decided to put tube in the water put kids on it fired the boat back up and no forward. So I thought here we go again. loaded tube and kids up started boat back up and forward workede again. Drove back to the dock told them lets try it again shut the boat off. Started it back up and no forward again. Loaded the boat and went home. Got home started put the muffs on it and started it up and forward works. Anyone have a clue whats going on with it? Want to out and play just scared.
