I have a 1991 4 cyl 2 -stroke 115 HP Mercury Outboard (just recently acquired); I just bought new spark plugs from the Marina and once I pulled the old ones out they appeared to be different: Both are NGK - Quicksilver but the old ones are a gapped plug model # BP 8H N -10 while the ones the Marina sold me are flat headed (no end gap) model # BUHW.
I previsously owned a 1150 1979 6 cyl. Mercury outboard that had a similar style flat headed plug as the BUHW.
Can I actually used the BUHW in my motor or will i do some damage ?
