Can I wash my boat while on the water...No Big EPA fine please.

Hello everyone,

Can I wash down my deck while docked at the marina. The soapy water (bio-degradable) would be discharges via the scuppers in to the lake? (Great Lakes -Erie-Federal waters).

I believe as long as it's the biodegradable stuff it would be fine.....i do out here in WA

Don't 'P' in the lake....

P being Phosphorus. I think if its phosphate free, you're good to go.

I use dish soap for a lot of stuff on board
