Hey All
last week end my engine seemed very weak overall and especially on take off; very slow hole shot as week end before my engine poped my 15' boat right out on plane easily; this engine was just out of the shop two weeks prior with a non removable carb cleaning, electrical systems check and compression check, all NEW tanks fuel lines and fuel pump; compression was all within 1 lb on each cylinder; I pulled the plugs after the seemingly lack of power and they are all WET and seem oily! My mechanic said he fixed my choke as it was not functioning properly before and he ran this motor WOT for 30 min in a large test tank and said she was kicking real well..... the plugs are NGK BZ7HS10;
question 1: what brand should I use?
question 2: should I run a hotter plug?
question 3: am I running too rich?
