Hello every one i just joined the forum, and also just bought my first boat.
I had to put the whole entire thing together (motor and out drive) i have a 89 galaxie starion2 with the OMC 5.7 today i was glad to fire it up for the first time in 3 years (had been sitting) from previous owner. Now since the trim rams were off the fluid was gone, so when i started to refill it (stuck the hoses inside a small bucket with automatic transmission fluid) and pulled up by hand i was able to keep it up but would not go down when i press the down button. I could hear the solenoid click and after messing with it... it went down but didnt come back up. Sorry for the novel but i really need help please anyone. Thanks
