I have a Johnson Fitch 150 HP I started getting and Engine check at start up but goes away at high RPM, when I slow to idle it comes back for 10 seconds and clears. I hooked up the Tools software and it comes back with a Hard 28 code. I retested and it clears but says intermitent.
The code says its the shift switch stuck in open position. My question, is it the throtle sensor they are talking about or is it in the actual throtle handles? Any help would be appreciated.
