hello ,iv been working on this engine on and off for a while now and finally come to the conclusion that the ecu is bad .its not firing on one of the injecter wires .any way can anybody tell me if these ecus are repairable or do i have to cough up 1200 smakers for a new one?

You should have the ECU tested. I would see if you can work a deal like if you test the ECU and it's fine then charge me for the test. If you test the ECU and it's bad, I'll buy a new ECU from you if you eat the cost of the test. The only thing you have to worry about with that is if they don't test the ECU and just tell you its bad.

Alternatively, you can see if you can find one on Ebay and get at guarantee from the seller. I've bought a couple and never had a problem.
