115hp johnson evinrude turbo jet no spark

Hi, I have a 97 four winns jet boat..115hp johnson evinrude that ran fine all day, parked overnight and it started briefly and now has no spark. I pulled out the plugs, wiggled wures checked connections etc... While cranking I noticed spark for a second then it stopped again... Any suggestions????? Thank you, Mike

Find the black/yellow wire that comes from the pulse pack and disconnect it. If you have spark then you have a boat wiring prob. Still no spark, mtr prob.

Boobie, I am having a similar issues with my 1994 Evinrude 115hp Turbojet. I have no spark, and when I disconnect the black/yellow that comes form the pulse pack/power pack the engine starts right up and runs fine until I plug the black/yellow back together to kill. How do I determine what exactly my electrical problem is? Do I need to replace the pulse/power pack? Thanks in advance for any help.

P.S> Not sure if this info helps, but as stated with black/yellow disconnected it starts right up on first crank and then I drove it around the lake for about 10-15min at a low speed with no problems, when I was finished I just connected the wires back together to kill it. )
