i would love to go to the island never been and i am right around the corner in sanford fl,,truth is I am kind of nervous to trailer my boat to new smyrna please dont ask why cause i dont know trailer is in great shape ,,i have been stuck just using the river and lk monroe ,,,plus i dont have friends that like boats they are all ghetto low lifes ,, man the more i think about it seems like i need a new set of friends

Take your boat to NSB. Go to the North causeway and launch it. Plenty of parking. It's mostly idle zone to the inlet, though. You can also launch at Dunlawton Bridge, but you better get there early.

P.S. Get a new set of friends.
