i bought an impeller yesterday for my 1988 dt40 suzuki outboard jet motor. i opened the package today and the slot for the key is different than my old impeller. the new impeller has a round key slot while the old one has square key slot. the new one fits on the shaft fine and sits in the liner well. my concern is that the impeller is for a different horse power motor and the blade pitch is different. does anyone know about these things?
