I have a 14' fiberglass boat 1960s with an Evinrude 18hp 1968 engine (Model# 18802A). I didn't have GPS but I'd say it was running at about 20mph with 2 200lb guys on it. I seem to have a spun prob hub and a predicament. Guy at shop says it will cost me about $40 to fix the spun hub IF he can do it on this small prop. So I search online and find a Michigan Match prop 012109 for $90 (763587). It seems either the 763587 or 763583 would be appropriate. Which one of these two do you recommend. Also, is it worth it to just get a whole new prop and call it a day? This is the one I was looking at http://www.tacomapropeller.com/21990/products/9-X-9-RH-3-Blade-AL-Match-Propeller.html. The one I have on there now as far as I know is the original. Is there a big difference in quality between this one (Michigan match) and the original Evinrude that seems to be around $140? You help is much appreciated, thanks!
