does it lift the whole motor like for hauling ?,,,,,,,we put the pin on the lower adjustment on the highest hole and the motor is like 6 inches off the ground
That's the general idea. Lift the leg up as high as you can, rotate that lever all the way twards the front of the boat, then let the leg down. That level hold the engine up for transport.
