Hey guys I just changed the impeller on my 55 1968 johnson TRL-10s.. I turned the shaft clockwise when i installed it... I just want to make sure if the impeller is installed correctly.. .. I did some search and find that most commonly the shaft turn clockwise.. but I want to make sure before i set it in the water.. If the shaft turn counterclockwise then i need to change it back....The previous owner start it with no water so the impeller was in a million pieces so i can't tell what way the shaft spin..

Clockwise is the correct direction; even if you installed the impeller backwards it would straighten out when you cranked it.
