90 Yamaha PRO-V 150 oil pump leak

Is it possible to fix a leaking oil pump, looks like the oil is coming from in between the pump and power head. I know there is an o-ring seal there. Do you have to pull the power head off to replace it? Thanks in advance.

Can someone please tell me if i can just can pull the pump and leave the shaft in the motor and block it off or do i have to remove the shaft too?
