30hp 1984 Johnson won't stay running

my 1984 Johnson 30 horsepower starts and runs about a minute then dies.
Was thinking it may be the fuel pump?

Try squeezing the primer bulb and see if motor stays running. Post back results.

Ok rebuild fuel pump or renew! But just make sure tank vents are opened and that the pulse tube from fuel pump isnt off or broken such as cracked or badly chaffed. Post back results.
