so i picked up a 90 crest pontoon with a 87ish 35 hp mercury on it. first time out on the water full throttle about a quarter mile out i got a constant beep from the throttle box when i slowed down a bit it went away. any more than 1/2 3/4 throttle and i get a beep.
also i have a nother boat with the same 35 hp mercury on it that boat the tell tale water pump sprayes a good hard stream. the new pontoon dosent spray real hard so i replaced the water pump but it is still a weak stream that dosent improve much with throttle.
is the beep related to it overheating maybe is it possible i have a internal leak in the boat motor
some were and its not pumping water very good
