I might have a bad fuel pump on my 94 225 Venom. Starts and idles fine, when I go to give it gas to plane out, it stalls right away. I have to run it with little gas as possible for 5 minutes or so, then I can WOT.
In any case, I'm no mechanic, just wondering what it might cost to get this replaced...or eve rebuilt if thats better. The Oil mixture side has been disabled, so should I just go with a fuel only pump and would that save on cost?
Hoping something is just clogged, fuel line, etc.
Oh btw, does anyone know what replacement pump or repair kit is correct for this outboard model (links?).
