I have a mercruiser 4.3 with 200 hours. I noticed the oil pressure guage going from the middle (40) to about 60 when I was running the motor at less than half throttle. The water was choppy so I was going across the lake against the waves and the motor was working a little harder since I couldn't plane the boat. When I got to the other side of the lake and slowed the boat down in the cove the pressure went back to 40. I was just wondering if it was normal for the oil pressure to raise in that type of situation. Thanks for any info.
