Twinn 94 Mercury Black Max 135 2 strokes issus

I have twin 94 Mercury 2 stroke Black Max outboards and need a little help,
one engine runs cool water all the time through the telltail stream, the other runs Hot. The hot one also spits water out the engine exaust port. I am told by my mechanic not to be so concerned but I am, I guess if I wasnt looking at twinns and seeing different things this wouldnt bother me so much. Cool engine thermostats changed yesterday and no differance in temps? Any help would be appreciated

Tell-tale should be either hot or not. Something's wrong with the t-stats, housings, or gaskets.

I'm assuming, of course, that someone hasn't fuddled up the tell-tale hose routing and run it to the top of the engine.

Thank you for the quick responce, Will check line routing in morning- can you elaborate on housing or gaskets comments?

All the water for the tell-tale has to go through a thermostat. If it's cold and the stats are good, something else is letting it get by.
