1987-115 I-6 Carb question

I have an 87 Straight six with a little issue. When I squeeze the fuel bulb to prime the fuel pump, fuel will leak out of one of the carbs....

I looked closely today, and found that Carb 3 (on the bottom) is leaking fuel out of the back drag air jet.

Other than their basic function, I'm clueless on carbs.....should the fuel be leaking here? I have a theory on why it may be doing this.....maybe the float is stuck down, or not sealing the needle/seat under pressure.

Is this something I need to worry about?

Thanks again!

Re: 1987-115 I-6 Carb question

Robbie, The carb float is likely bad or the inlet needle and seat are bad or both, causing that flooding. The new fuel also disolves the old floats. I recommend you pull the carb tops and inspect the floats, inlet needles and seats. Replace all bad floats and likely the inlet needles and seats.
