88 evinrude 120 v4 wont crank

Trying to crank this evinrude 120 v4, it has good fire to all 4 spark plugs, good compression, it actually tried to crank when i had one of the plugs out, but when i put it back it just turns over and will not crank.

This will help you in the future....

Your motor is not firing properly, turning over and cranking are essentially the same thing. If it doesn't turn over/crank, then it's one set of problems, if it doesn't fire then it' a whole different ballgame.

This will be helpful for both you and people reading your threads in the future.
