I have a 93 Johnson 175 Fast Strike. On my last trip the tach died. Thinking it was a bad tach I installed a new one. No help. The instructions stated I should have a minimum of 4vac on the SEND post. There is no voltage there. I chased the gray wire back to the motor and found it goes to a little electronic module on front of the oil injection pump. Also, found battery voltage at 12 volts then with engine running at about 2000 rpm the volt only goes up to 12.2 volts. I can fish all day with the live well pump running and never need to recharge the main battery. Any help or a better understanding on how this works would help very much. Thanks, Dean E
