Intermittent no startup and engine kill switch not working

Hi All,

My 92 Four Winns 205 Sundowner, OMC 5.8L/Cobra setup has developed intermittent no startup when I turn the key. No clicking sound or anything happens but if I tried it multiple times, it will start right away. Feels like it's a contact problem and I know a diagnostic procedure is present in the adult only section but wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem can lead me to the culprit right away. BTW, the kill switch was not working since the first day I bought the boat 2 years ago.

If you follow that procedure in the Adults only sticky, it will track down the problem in only a few minutes. Then you know you fixed the right thing.
Otherwise, you might as well start swapping parts until you hit the right one.
