trolling motor controls

I have a mid 80s minnkota trolling motor with foot controls... but i have no pedals to run it, it has 7 wire plug in a circle plug with a flat notch on 1 side, everyone i talked to said that it is obsolete so unable to buy a new one, i have an idea how i want to wire it but i need to know what wires run what controls

I've no idea but would suggest you contact MinnKota customer service for information. I've heard good things about their willingness. Best of luck. Rick.

Would a foot pedal from a 1989-90 bow mount Minnkota 765 work for you? I might be able to find one.
