1998 Yamaha 150 2 stroke saltwater, Where the main power and ground comes into the motor there is an isolator/ connector block, mine caught on fire tonight!
does anyone know the proper name for this or a part # would be awesome!
Also for some reason, ever once in a while the motor will start, ill put it in gear and it will die and take forever to crank back up, it only does it after i have run it for while,the shut it down for a while, and once i get it started again it fine usualy for the rest of the day. Any ideas why? i belive the reason the isolator caught fire is because i was cranking it too much, and it may have had a loose connection there.
