06" Toyota Highlander Hybrid, 100k miles.

Just started doing this. If I use the left right turn signal (lane change or full turn position) , the cruise control cancels, as if I tapped the brakes. Does not shut off (dash indictor still on), just cancels. Have to press resume or set.

Any ideas?

I hope this is not the beginning of the end, for hybrid repairs. It's ran flawlessly until now :(

Sounds like your getting a back feed from your turn signal in to your brake signal feed for your cruz.

if you're cruise buttons are on the steering wheel (which they likely are) you need to replace the turn signal cam. you unhook the battery, pop the airbag off, pull the steering wheel off the hub and the cam assembly will be looking at you. there will be a bunch of canals in it where the copper button contacts slide around on when the wheel turns. probably the cam is just shorting out and crossing signals due to wear.
