I have been having intermittent problems with the boat running good and then bad and then ok. I thought I might have a chock sticking. I took off the flame arrestor and look down the carb and the only butterflies is for the throttle. Where is the choke? It is a 2006 4.3 merc with Turn Key Start.

no choke on a TKS carb

poor design, pump the throttle twice to start, EVERY time no matter what the salesman told you

what kind of issues you havin?? wide open, poor hole shot, dying at idle, hesitation at all rpms, all of the above??

Have you changed the water separating fuel filter and checked the contents of the old filter for water?

I changed the fuel/water separator and it looked good. A little bit of junk, but no water. Plugs, cap and rotor have been changed. No air in fuel system. Fuel pump has good vacuum.
