I have an late 80's early 90's mariner 8hp outboard. My problem is i cracked the fuel pump cover hose connector. This is the nipple where the fuel line comes from the fuel filter to the pump, so i have no gas pressure. This has been in the shop going on two months now and the guy i got working on it and me have done alot of research to no aval. This part has been discontiued or obsolete. I guess i'm just looking for any help with finding the part (#83296m) or is there another option (maybe whole differnt carb???).
