I have an Ozark T-174 fish and ski tri hull boat. There is a compartment in the floor of the boat to store skis. There seems to be a crack in the fiberglass and i am wondering if water is getting into the hull of the boat. I had a lot of trouble last summer getting the boat to plane out. I am wondering if my hull is full of water. How do I go about getting the water out? Is there foam underneath this compartment? Could i drill a large hole and put a shop vac hose in there and just suck it out? Help!!! boat 1.jpgboat 2.jpg

Welcome to iboats!

Based on your comments, I'd say more than likely your diagnosis is correct. Wet foam under the deck. Your solution, sorry to say, will not work. Only way to fix wet foam is...
Remove the deck and remove the foam and replace with new. Search the forum, plenty of examples for you to learn from.

You need to read our rules, chedda. Then please start your own thread.

We have very active forums and any thread that remains inactive for that long should be considered "dead". It is especially confusing when there is an entirely new question posted to an old thread. This is considered a hijack. Please start a new thread of your own.
