I have a 2003 Nitro 640LX with a Tracker by Mercury 50 HP out board that runs fine in idle and when I take off across the lake it runs fine. The problem is when I stop to fish and start up to move the motor runs for a short while then starts to slow like its starving for gas and as soon as I squeeze the primer bulb it picks right up to speed again. Sometimes it will do this a couple of times and sometimes it will just run fine. I have changed the inline fuel filter, the fuel pump, the primer bulb, and have tightened all the hose clamps. I am considering putting in a fuel filter and water separator. Can anyone give me some help? Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
