My 2007 Mercruiser 3.0L fresh water cooled engine, had a fresh water leak from head gasket.
Water was not visible on low speed, but at top speed you could se the leak very good.
No sign of water in oil
Since all shops are closed in the weekend i decided to try to after draw my head bolts first before buying a new head gasket
Did the after draw on my head bolts today, and that solved the leak.
For fun i tested the torque on the bolts before i did the after draw and got really scared when i found it to be around 40-60 nm on all bolts, the book says 122 nm.
My engine is 2007 and have only run 100 hours, no wonder that these engine has several problems connected to head gasket.
Be aware all 3.0 owners.
