I am trying to make sure I get the right lower unit for my '89 force 125. I know there are two lengths of drive shafts, 20" and 25". Does anyone know how long each is from the top of the gear case to the tip of the drive shaft?
I have a 20" lower end. From the top of the gear case to the tip of the drive shaft it's 23 3/4". Measuring the exposed drive shaft itself from where it exits the top of the water pump, it's 21 1/2".
