Oil Leaking From 2.5L Starter?

I seem to have a healthy amount of oil mixed with water on my garage floor and plenty more in the bilge... quite the mess. Probably half a quart maybe some more.

There seems to be seepage all around the starter housing. I'm not much of an engine buff; is it even possible to leak from the starter?? anything else around there that could be causing it. Dipstick pull looked full but not sure it was 100% level when i did that...

Ran great when i had it out last on Monday, before that there was no oil in the bilge at all.

Where are the common oil leak places for a Mercruiser 120? I haven't ruled out the trim pump/lines yet... hard to see back there and i think that also uses motor oil so it would smell the same... right?
