hello i just bought a moeller water separating fuel filter for my outboard i hooked up the hoses then pumped it and the fuel is in the water drain bowl? i dont know what i did wrong help please
That is the way they work. Over time any water or water/ethanol mix will settle to the bottom of the bowl. Watch for it and drain it out. If you are running premix, it will be easy to see since it will be clear or yellow, not the color of the premix.
