Engine bolts

Hello All,
I broke a bolt that holds the impeller housing together. Are the bolts that are used in marine engines brass? Could I go to a hardware store, try to fine one that is the same size and use it? Or is there something else done to marine hardware?

Make it easy on yourself, and get to a Volvo shop. They should be able to get you the correct part.
Don't know Volvo, so not sure how easy it'd be to find that at a hardware store.
Should be plenty of places in your area that stock Volvo parts.
