1998 225 OX66 - returning from Walker's a couple of weeks ago, and the stbd engine would not run at power. The engines ran well for 3.5 days. We departed Walkers and ran for 2 hrs before stopping to fish. We idled for a few minutes, and shut down for about 10 minutes. Both engines cranked up, but the stbd eng acted slightly flooded. Pushed the throttles down, both engines climbed to 3000 rpm, then the stbd fell back to 400, then up to 2500, back to 7, and on. stalled at idle once. i let it set for 1 hr, then had the same response. problem repeated after 2 hrs. and 3. I did not suspect fuel issues, as the rpm change was very rapid. the problem duplicated when i ran it the following week, but maybe not quite as strong. flashy thing was not working, operator error. i cleaned the injector filter. re-tested, and it runs fine.
