21' Renken 2200 Boat, 1983; caddy style cabin; Has a rebuild stern drive ALPHA 1(2011);
Engine (OMC 228 hp; 305 cid) is NOT in working condition.
The top cover of the engine reads, " MerCruiser 228. MCM 228 Model.
Question is...If the orginal owner states the cylinder #2 on right side is not working. Can I drop in a different engine. eg. 350 v8? and if so, will it for the stern drive?
I just purchased the boat.
