hello friends
i have a 9.8 thunder bolt eng merc it starts and runs great, but when i go into gear its like i am pulling a troller behind me no power at all and not sure of year #3269263 does anybody have any idea.

When you say it runs great, do you mean it idles well and will rev in neutral? If so, you're probably due for a carb cleaning.

well cleaned carb and fuel pump does not miss just wont get up and go just dont make sense hopfully this will help you help me about to use as anchor lol

Running on one cylinder ? will idle fine and rev to limit in neutral on one cylinder and seem fine but will have no power
