81 Evinrude 2-Stroke 25Hp Stator Magneto is believed to be dead

my step dad's been trying to get his motor to run for a while now, and recently got it all repaired until he found out that the Stator Magneto is dead. His friend told him that it may be a jump start magneto. How do you jump start the stator magneto?

Ok? You can use that on a boat motor? if you could how would you hook it up to the thing?

it produces 1.21 jigawatts of power, so i would guess it plugs into some power cable.

Did anybody check the price ? You can sure buy a lot of new mtrs for that.
