I have alot of dry rot in the wires on the ignition driver and the ignition coil. Can I cut them off and run new wires? Should I use crimp connectors or wire nuts? Do the wires have to be the same length as they were before? Thanks
Yes to can if you can find good copper. Do not use wire nuts. I would solder them and use heat shrink. Length is not important except for having enough to secure the wires out of the way of linkage.
