Good Day All -

As you might know I am in the middle of my boat re-build (see thread in the hull restoration topic). I would like to add a ski pylon to pull our tube.

I have seen a few add on types in some of the catalogs, but they always say "Not for Inflatables".

We have a fish-n-ski type boat with an outboard. To pull the tube, we have been using the harness that clips to the two rear tie-down eyelets....while it works, I don't really like the idea of it getting sucked into the prop.

Any thoughts??

Thanks again to such knowledgeable folks on the board!!!

I think the chances of the rope getting sucked into the prop are pretty remote as long as the requisite attention is paid to what's going on back there. If the current setup works to your satisfaction I'd just stick with it.

The reason it says not for inflatables is that you will either snap it off or tear it out of the deck. Too much force from a tube.
