In celebration of NDD, a food service style truck pulled into the corporate parking lot and gave away hundreds of CUPCAKES!!! Uhhh, what didn't they understand about today being National DONUT day. Not National CUPCAKE Day!

Anyway, the cupcakes were great. I had a triple chocolate cake, rich, very moist chocolate cake, with chocolate icing and chockolate kisses on top. Outstanding with a big glass of milk!

They should have had their name printed on the CC wrapper, because I can't remember their name now.

Wow, I grew up in a bakery, standing on a milk crate to fill the doughnuts. I never heard of National Doughnut day. We did "celebrate" doughnut or Faschnacht day. A special-rich German doughnut sold only on the day before lent. (fat tuesday) I both loved and hated this day. I got out of going to school but spent from 3AM on in the Bakery! Learned how to work though.

well that was another benefit. It did help knowing the officers when I got my mustang in H.S. :)
