I have an Evinrude 200 that has been working just fine. At the beggining of last summer I ran down the river for about 20 min. No problems. Pulled over and stopped to wait for others. A couple of minutes went by and they showed up. I then tried to start my boat and it would not turn over. It would go through the precheck and then come back with the no oil, water temp and check engine light on. Had power but would not turn over. After about five minutes the lights went out and the boat started. I ran the boat the next three months with no problem. Then it did it again. But this time the lights would not go out and I had to get towed back. When I pulled the boat out of the water I checked it again and it started right up. I took it to a repair shop and he could not find anything wrong. He said the compurter pulled no codes, showed no over heating or over reving. This year I have had the boat out three or four weekends with not problems. Then this last weekend it happened again. I had to get towed back again. And just like last year, when I got it out of the water it started back up.
I am now worried about taking it back out. Any Ideas????

You EMM,the engine computer, is intermittent and it's a known problem. Contact DFI Technologies for repair prices and info.
